Commercial and Flying Instructor Licences
The RAF Waddington Flying Club is a Registered Training Facility (RTF) and authorised to offer flying and flying training to the PPL standard only. If you wish to obtain a Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) or other specialist qualifications such as the Instrument Rating (IR) or Flying Instructor qualification then you will be required to undertake the respective training courses at an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
The RAF Flying Clubs’ Association (RAFFCA) has established a Training Alliance with Aeros Flying Training who offer first class facilities at a number of locations across the UK and, moreover, offer significant discount to members of the UK Armed Services. Aeros flying Training are an ATO and our preferred training provider. Registered with ELCAS they will work with you to establish the quickest and most cost effective route for you as an individual, taking into account any military experience you may have and also offer course flexibility to fit in with the demands of your service career.
